White Sands Resort Club in Naples, Florida
March 30 to April 7, 2012

white sands resort in naples florida
We stayed at the White Sands Resort Club. It was in the heart of Old Naples, just 2 blocks from the beach and 3 blocks from the shopping district on 5th Ave. It was just perfect for our family. Our condo was nice with a full kitchen and the tile floors were great when we came in from the beach with some sand on our feet. The kids loved the pool and spent as much time there as they could.

Reid enjoyed the pool, but only some of the time. He was more excited to run around and find a way out of the resort.

The best almost sunset shot of the trip. Every day was sunny, but it seemed like every night the clouds came in off the Gulf just before sunset.

Checking out the sunset on the beach and having a bedtime snack.

One morning we took drove down about a half hour in the Everglades to the Fakahatchee Strand Preserve State Park. We stopped to walk Big Cypress Bend Boardwalk. Its is right off U.S. 41, seven miles west of State Road 29.
plam leaves
The boardwalk go about 1/2 mile in the swamp. If you go, don't forget the bug spray. The mosquitoes were not too bad, but each of us came home with a few bites.
